Roast Potatoes
1 quarts of boiling water
1 oz salt
1/2 teaspoon of soda
4 lb chunky potatoes
Boil for about 10 minutes. Heat the oven to 400–450 F, drizzle with oil, salt and pepper and roast for 20 minutes. Turn each of them and roast for 30–40 minutes longer.
