Очень вкусный салат, просто очень! Я подумала, что его надо будет сделать на День Благодарения!

For the dressing

¼ cup olive oil
2-3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
½ garlic clove
3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste

For the salad
250 g (½lb) lettuce leaves Use a variety of your favorite leaves
1 English cucumber
Я так же добавила редиску и семена чиа

Instructions
Using a microplane, finely grate garlic and Parmesan into a small bowl. Whisk in the olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Halve a large English cucumber then scrape out the seeds with a teaspoon then slice.
Place lettuce into a large serving bowl and add the cucumber.
Pour over the dressing, toss and serve.

Очень вкусная картошка и чистить не надо. Помимо сухих трав нарезала веточку свежего розмарина. Нарезала круную картошку на ломтики и запекала 45 минут. За 15 минут до конца добавила масло. Петрушку не добавляла, она не нужна, поскольку и без нее очень ароматно.

3 pounds red potatoes, halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray.
Place potatoes in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Add olive oil, garlic, thyme, oregano, basil and Parmesan; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Gently toss to combine.
Place into oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Stir in butter until melted, about 1 minute.
Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.

Великолепная получилась свинина!

1 kilo (2 lbs) pork shoulder cut into a large cubes
4-5 shallots or 1 medium onion plus 1-2 cloves of garlic, finely minced
red wine a good pour
1 bottle passata di pomodoro or 1 large can tomatoes, passed through a food mill
250 g (1/4 lb) frozen peas or 1 lb fresh and unshelled peas
olive oil
salt and pepper

Instructions

Sauté the shallots gently in a large, heavy pot or pressure cooker in abundant olive oil for just a minute or two.
Raise the heat and add the pork. Turn the pork from from time to time, until the pieces are lightly browned all over. Take care not to burn the shallots.

If using a conventional pot

Lower the heat to low and cover. Simmer for about an hour, or until the meat is tender. The sauce should be abundant but not watery. Add a bit of water if it needs it as it simmers.
Add the peas, if frozen, about 5 minutes before the end of cooking and, if fresh, about halfway through the simmer.
If using a pressure cooker
If using a stove-top pressure cooker, cover the pot and let come to pressure. Cook under pressure for about 15 minutes before releasing the pressure. If using an electric pressure cooker, set it to the "Stew" or equivalent setting; it should cook and release pressure automatically.
Open the pot and add the peas to the pot and simmer uncovered until done, about 5 minutes or so for frozen peas, perhaps a half hour for fresh. If using an electric cooker, use the "reduce" or similar function.
To finish the dish
